Places to see while re-visiting Paterson

My wife Lucia and I are returning to Paterson for a brief visit Saturday Sept 4th. I left after high school (JFK) in 1968 with infrequent visits since. I hope to hook up with old/new friends and neighbors at Libby's noon on Saturday. You are invited!!!

While visiting Paterson,,, what sites historic or new should I see for the few short hours we will be in town??

you may want to go down to Cross Street (Cianci St now) they have a nice statue of Lou Costello there.

I couldn't believe how bad those nice stores now look.
Remember Lady Rose and Sterns, Meyer Brothers and all of the nice clean stores?
Alot of bargains I must admit but depressing at the same time.
I don't know how long ago you were there but as bad as downtown is I still go and walk thru the stores.
I feel like I will always be tied to Paterson and I
almost feel like yelling out " Get out of here". these are my precious memories.
