Hopefully Jack had a good time on his visit to Paterson and that the "all the ways" he enjoyed at Libby's didn't stay with him all the way home. Just wanted everyone to know that there will be a Roast at the Brownstone they will be Roasting Paterson's own Lou Duva, Uncle Floyd will be there as well as others doing the roasting. It will be this monday September 12 if anyone is interested tickets are $50.00 but it goes to charity and is tax deductible. You can contact the brownstone for more information
Also would like to bring up some memories here its a test again Does anyone remember what was at the V on Market Street when it went under the tressel. and what was behind what was there. Hint maybe 2 The first thing you came to had a name similar to another famous hamburger maker and behind it you could see there best product in the frozen food dept of all the major grocery stores.

I remember a couple of things from that area:
White Castle Paterson Billiards The Garden Theater The Paterson Evening News
I remember cutting school and meeting a friend from Paterson Tech there. We caught a train to Hoboken and from there took a subway into Greenwich Village.
I also recall putting coins on the train track and watching the train flatten them out.
I'm not sure what was behind White Castle. Hmmm-- ice cream, pizza-- don't know.
Nice one JP.

:)I remember the "Tree Tavern" being behind the White Tower". When I first got married I worked at the Tree Tavern but again I was too young to serve drinks I worked there a short time. The Evening News I remember also. JOJO
