What is your sister's name? I must know her. Paterson is a small town. Everyone, from the old days, knows everyone else. Joe Pezzano has been a VP in JFK for the past three years. He is very good friends with Rich Roberto. Rich became our principal 4 years ago. I recognize the name Pellicotti but I don't think that I know him. Jack Guiliani is a nut. He retired last year. I haven't seen him since. What year did you graduate?
What is your brother Sam doing these days?

Her name doesn't sound familiar. I will ask around.
I work with a woman from West Milford who is amazed with the fact that wherever she goes there is always a reference to Paterson. This even happened to her in Europe. Are we unique or is this true of most places?
Where are you living now? Rupperts is in Riverdale and I am in West Milford. Are you in this area?

Bernard did you live in the stoney road section for a while,if so i think i know who you are. Hi Bill, I lived by St. Bons, Stoney Road, from about '74 to '87. I hung out at A.Js/Stoney Road Inn on Murray Ave. once in a while, and hit quite a few bars back in the day. I just saw the guest book so I know who you are. Of all the people from the SR area I probably knew your bro Dan best. I believe that my in-laws Donna and Ric M. rented from your parents.

For the first 10 years of my life,I lived at 78 Market St. The back alley was directly accross the street from St.Mike's Church & the parish hall which became the rectory that's still there today. The stores on Cross St. were Danny's Barber Shop, Sun Ray Bakery and Angelo's Chicken Store. On Market St. you had Aldon-Central Meat,Paterson Pastry,Ciavarella's Market and a lot of stores I forgot. Oh yeah,Rocky's Shoe Repair & The LaSalle Diner were on Market St. too. Mickey Del's and Lazzarra's were on Cross St. The Domenick Raneri Playground on Mill st.,was it?Not only do I remember Stanley Bavaro, but his older brothers Sammy & Vince.Nino and Albert Nardelli,Louie Iacobelli and the PS2 playground. They lived on Magee's Alley right accross from Jimmy DeFillipis. Grace Aquino lived near there too. I remember Joe Pellicotti,Dillinger,Mike Gentile, the Kearney Bros. and the Karpak Bros. I went to St.Mike's with Jude Russo,Bobby Gervolino,Mike Renne,Don Rizzo,Oliver Dittamo,Johnny Sausa and Mario Conforti. Girls were Judy Garofalo,Barbara Vocaturo,Rose Masone,Lucille Fulco, Theresa "Angelface" DeLuzio and so many others. What a great neighborhood it was. A few months ago, I was down by St.Mike's and took pictures inside and outside the church. What a rush hit me when I went inside for the first time in 50 years. Anybody wants to see the pix, drop a note here.

You have a good memory of Market and Cross St do you remember on Sundays when the St Mike's church band would Louie Iccaobelli played the bass drum parade up Cross Street to the Church on feast days You also forgot to mention Lembo's Drug Store the Pelicotti's use to live over it Joe and his sister Judy I still see them every now and then Don't know what became of Dilinger or his brother Lenny I remeber when Lenny jumped off the roof. Remember the Roma club and all the homes across the street before they put in the parking lot you could cut through by lazzara's to get to the back of Kressege If you took pictures of St Mike's From the alter facing the door the 3rd window on top on the right was put there by my family My family also built the apartments from where lembo's was to Mickey Del's rememeber he would sit out side on summer nights with his dog Skippy and he'd give me 15 cents to go to Mary's candy store to get him a double scoop of lemon ice and a single scoop for myself. I remember when they were tearing down the homes on passic street to put up the senior citizen housing. You know Monsignor Cianci's nephew was the mayor of Providence RI that got indicted for corruption.

Hey 2K,
I hung with Bob Moody for a while and remember Dwight like you do.
I'm interested in any old photos of Paterson. If you can point me to them, that would be great.
Have a Happy 2009!
